Tension Headache for 9 days Posted: 12-19-07 01:05am
So i've had this F-ing headache for 9 days
now.. and its killing me. I went and saw
my family doctor and he gave me
Butlbtl/Apap/Caff pills and they help but
the headache always COMES BACK. I wake up
generally around noon, i'm usually pain
free until about 4 PM and thats when i
usually pop 1 or 2 of these pills because
my head/neck really starts to hurt. I take
another one usually around 9 or 10... and
i get to sleep around 3. I usually sleep
fine.
Today i had some acupuncture on my neck to
see if it helps.. it felt allright for a
while.. but my appointment was at 1 so my
head doesnt hurt then usually anyway. I
decided today was the day i'd try and go
without taking these pills, because i read
that the headache can sometimes rebound
because of these things. It was the most
painful day ever. Has anyone else ever had
this problem for this long? I'd do
anything to get rid of this pain.

woke up today pain free, but i could still
feel the pressure from the headache.
had acupuncture at 3:30 and i felt fine
after that until about 5 PM and my
headache came back in a very big way.
right now i'm in a heck of alot of pain..
i had to take some of those painkillers,
but it's been about 40 minutes since i've
taken them and they havnt had any effect.
I'm worried now, i don't know what else to
do. acupuncture, medication, relaxing
techniques, rest, massage... i've tried
everything.
