I know this question has been asked before
but it's my turn now. I'm trying to get my
bag packed for the hospital. I don't want
to overpack because I want to travel
light.
Here's what I was thinking.
A pair or two of jammies
A couple pairs of socks
Maybe houseshoes (if I don't just use
socks)
Nursing Bras
Nursing Pads
A couple pairs of underwear (just in
case)
Toiletries
Hubby's clothes (pajamas and an extra
outfit)
Going home outfit for me
Am I forgetting anything and is all of
this necessary?
TIA

Wow, I read houseshoes as "horseshoes". I
was like "is that a luck thing?" before I
read it again. Yay, I need sleep!
CAMERA! Pack your CAMERA woman! And I'd
highly suggest bringing your own pillow
and don't
forget to have your car seat installed and
bring it by a firehouse/police station for
inspection first to make sure it's
installed correctly.

You need outfits for the baby! I've got
one for if she's a girl and one for just
in case she's a he. And blankets for him
or her.

Yeah, I was planning on the pillows and
blankets because I used to work at our
hospital and it's almost impossible for
you to get more than one pillow and yes
they do suck. I almost forgot my camera. I
need to go ahead and charge and stick it
in my suitcase. I already have her diaper
bag packed with everything she needs
including two outfits, two blankets (just
in case), a few diapers, wipes, rash
cream, paci, a couple of bottles (even
though I'm planning on breastfeeding you
never know what's gonna happen). All I
need for her is a darn hat. Where do you
guys get infant hats at. I have looked
everywhere and can't find a
purple/lavendar hat anywhere.

They normally have hats donated to the
hospitals.

I want one that matches her going home
outfit. It's still going to be cold here.
If I have to I'll use the hospital one
though. I just really want a purple one.

I always got Kaylee's hats at Walmart,
they usually have pretty cute ones.

I've been to Babies R Us and they have
absolutely nothing right now. I don't know
if they're just sold out or what. I've
been to one wal mart and they had nothing.
I still need to go check out a couple
more. I've also been to Old Navy, Target,
JC Penney, Dillards...and a few more I
can't remember. I just remembered there
are a few kid shops in the mall like the
Children's Place. I might go check there
or have my mom go check there actually.
