I'm a healthy 21 year old and got external
hemorrhoids (first one),but they're acting
weird, its there and yet no pain and
seldom itch, theres no bleeding from what
i can tell and no real complications with
using the restroom. I've been trying prep
H gel, advil, ice packs and the warm bath.
I've had them for a little over a week and
they don't seem to want to go away. does
this seem weird if they last more than a
week or if they don't actually hurt they
just are there any help would be greatly
appreciated

Generally speaking with treatment using an
external cream and suppositories you would
be unlikely to see improvement before 3 to
4 weeks.
In addition to treating the area you
should also maintain a soft diet during
the recovery period and avoid excessive
walking ans running etc.
It is a prolapsed hemroid then he recover
period can be much longer.
The internet has a wealth of info to guide
you, Try
i don't think its prolapsed its just a
swollen side of the outer anus not red and
covered in mucus, its more of a white and
blue color like a buldging vessel. so i
guess this just means its a stubborn
hemorrhoid?
