**nightmares** Posted: 04-20-04 01:36am
I know this sounds silly, I just want to
know your opinions.
I haven't had nightmares since I was very
young. But lately i've been having some
really bad nightmares. So bad I have a
hard time getting my self to sleep at
night. I'm mexican and we folks have a
lot of myths/beliefs in our family. So
my mom thinks it's because of my pregnancy
(never had with my first). What's wired
about my dreams is that I have the same
one all the time. In very gruesome
detail. It's about a girl that people
believed she died by drowning, but she
actually killed herself. And i'm the
only one that knows how she did it.
It's very sick. I see her house and
through the dream and watch her as she
kills her self in her own home. I could
tell you some detail, but it's gross and
long. Anyway, my aunt thinks my dream
has to do with real life. To be honest
with you I never been so terrified with
anything until i've been having these
dreams.
Has anyone experienced nightmares while
going through pregnancy?

I never even used to have dreams (or at
least that I can remember) but ever since
ive been pregnant ive been having
nightmares like every night... So real
and vivid that it scares the crap out of
me and I sit up fast and wake up when I
jerk up like that. But I guess kevin says
sometimes I will just sit up in my sleep
and he will ask me whats wrong and I dont
answer him and then I lay back down after
a little bit. Dont worry, your not alone
with this, and they are just dreams. Ive
been having the same dreams too... Or if
I wake up in the middle of it and I go
back to sleep the dream will continue and
there is no gettin away from it.

I think it's just so bazar how I just
started to have them. I wonder if it does
have to do with being pregnant???

I don't remember reading that you were
pregnant again. When are you do? I do
believe that it is the pregnancy that is
causing you to dream. I have the
weirdest dreams all the time.

I'm due september 27th. I have a routine
ultrasound scheduled for may 10th. I
can't wait. I have a 5 year old boy named
issac. So hopefully i'll have a little
girl. No worries if not though. Plus I
have a feeling it's a boy. I have the
symtoms (morning sickness) like I had with
my son. Will see.

have a 3 yr.Old boy, and I am now 23
weeks. I found out a week and a half
ago, I was having another boy. I'm happy
about that, that's what I wanted. I'm
glad everything is going good for you.

Hey girl, I have them too. I didnt really
have them before but now I have dreams all
the time and they feel so real. I had one
that I was partying with demons and stuff.
And this one I cant get out of my
head...I was with my cousins and we were
at the gas station in 2 cars so we were
filling up my tank and all of a sudden
some hoochies take off in my sisters car,
so we were like oh hell no! So we chased
them and they stopped in front of some
cars, so I sped and ramed right into them
and I felt the hit too, so these guys get
out of other cars with guns and knives and
come after us so we were like oh crap, so
I get in my car and my cousins get in too,
but one guy has this big axe kinda knife
and cuts my leg, so I punch reverse and
take off and I slide the knife to my
cousin to my right and this other guy got
in the back seat and was telling me where
to drive so I was but then he pulled my
shirt over my head trying to make me crash
and my cousin gets the big knife and cuts
his head off! So we push him off the car
and I keep driving and the guys are still
chasing us and then...I woke up. Hehe it
felt so real!!! But I had a nightmare
right before that one and they wake me up!
I think its the raging hormones we have
right now that trick our mind. So dont
worry about the dreams, what I do is think
really happy thoughts when im trying to go
back to bed and my dreams are fine.
Wow, nikki. Intresting dream! Lol
i have wierd/bad dreams also and I am not
preggy. Of course a lot of my dreams are
connected with my anxiety since my sis's
death. I dream of murders and well, while
we're talking about sick dreams.......
This one makes me cry....It's one I had a
few weeks ago:
i dreamed that me, my 4 yr. Old niece, my
lil bro, and my lil sis went to stay at my
brother's house for a night. Well, this
guy breaks in and then takes off running
and stuff.....So I lock the door and put
the kids in one room....My brother isn't
home.....Just me and all the
kids......Well, I put them all in one room
to keep them safely together ya know and
the phone is dead so I can't call 911.
Well, i'm watching at the window for that
guy to come back and I hear a gun shot so
I go into the room where the kids are and
my niece is falling on the bed, like she
was hangin gout the window and she's
falling back in the bed and my sis and bro
are sitting there looking at me with blood
smeared all over their faces and my niece
say's "chanda" and starts crying....He
shot her like in the back/butt....
Anyway, I woke up at this moment....
Oh well, it makes me cry and to this day
bothers me a whole lot..... caca,
i'm crying now.......I have bad dreams and
I hate it.........
