Weight Watchers..bridget?

I'm looking online & can't seem to find much. I did find a website with foods & the points next to them but my only question is how many points are you suppose to have daily while doing this? I'm thinking about trying it.

Thanks Terra! I think I'm going to try it. Did you lose any weight when you were on it?

you can do it, michelle! ww is the easiest program ever. if i can lose 80 pounds with it, anyone can lose weight!

the point ranges suzy gave you are the old ones, there's a new formula now. but i go by the old way because that's how it was when i joined and it worked for me. i think they change it every few years to keep it fresh, but i'm a big believer in "if it's not broken, don't fix it".

good luck!

Thanks! Was it all a fairly steady weightloss for you? How long did it take to lose 80 lbs? & wow, that's a lot, good for you!! I talked to Shane about it & told him I can basically eat the same things I'm eating but just go by these points to keep track of what all I'm doing all day, he's all for it. & I love the recipes I've been finding, they all look & sound so good! He didn't want me to be on a diet where it would require him to eat nasty flavorless air-tasting food just because I was lol. I'm going to do it Smile I'll start January 1st Very

it took a long time because i would go off it after awhile. like i'd lose 20 in about 6 weeks, then go off for 6 weeks (but never gained any back), then i'd go back on and lose another 20, then take another break, and so on.

you need to get a food scale! it's so much easier measuring out your food with a scale rather than counting out 16 chips or using measuring cups. food scales are cheap, you can get them at walmart.

it is seriously so easy. you really can eat whatever you want! i would eat candy every day because it's my favorite thing.

oh, and if you follow it correctly you should have a nice big loss the first week (usually at least 5 pounds). it's mostly water weight but it's great motivation.

k, I'll get a food scale, I've actually wanted one for a while now anyway! Did you do a lot of exercising while you were on it? I would be through the ROOF if I lost 5 lbs that first week! My goal to start with was to lose 20 lbs but I think with WW after reading all of the success stories online & included yours, I might actually be able to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Ahh I'm excited Very

Yup, Michelle, I lost about 6 pounds in my first week, it felt AMAZING. I mean 6 pounds isn't a lot, but for a week it is! I didn't ever exercise, I tried a bike once but it didn't work out for my butt too well lol I couldn't sit for a few days, so I just stopped working out.

i'd like to start again, but I can't afford it every month, but it's very very easy and makes you feel great Smile I stopped because I'm lazy.

I got all giddy over my losing one pound a week or so back, can you imagine me if I lost 5-6 Shocked haha! I hate exercise bikes, I really don't like any exercising. I'm definately not a sit up/pushup/crunch kinda person, I'm loving Tae Bo though!
