Q: 16 Weeks Pregnant and no bump!

Hello! I'm now sixteen weeks pregnant, but... I still look completely flat! You can't even tell there's a baby in there!

It is my first baby and all my books tell me that I'll show a little later then an experienced mom, but now there saying by week 16 you should be able to see a bump!

Has anybody else gone through this? Could there be something wrong?

Everyone is different and looks different throughout their pregnancies so don't worry! I didn't start to look pregnant until around 24 weeks.
Try not to worry

I've got about three weeks to go and I'm on my 6th term pregnancy. Some people in my small town never even realize where I got the baby...people would tell me, oh you 'll pop out after the first one. Nope, not after the first or the fifth I didn't. And here I am on my sixth. I look like I'm about 3 months along people tell me. Maybe more like someone else's 6 months along I would think. It's just all on the inside is all.

All on the inside means less room for you though and I think it's more painful, so pray hard for a bigger bump than I have lol Wink Besides, if you show more, people help you out more too!

Everyone is different, so don't worry.

No, I'm sure everything is fine! This being your first time your muscles arent stretched out yet and if your thin and fit like I am, might take a while for you to start showing. I'm 5 feet 8 inches and I have a very long torso and I weighed 105 at the start of pregnancy. I diddnt begin to show a bump until 20 weeks and even then, most ppl couldnt tell i was prego because I still looked rather tiny. But by my 7th month you could deff tell! So dont worry I think this is very normal, and trust me you will show, just might take a lil time. Took me quite a long time and I was feeling left out cuz all my friends who are prego to showed way early. Im 40 weeks now and I am pretty good size, cant wait to meet my baby girl!

I didn't start showing until around 26, 27 weeks, and even then, clothes concealed my bump. Strangers couldn't tell I was pregnant until I was at 30 weeks.

I'm 16 weeks too and been worrying myself. Some days I look like I have a firm bump, and other days, flat as a pancake!! Think it must be doing some kind of manoeuvring in there!!
Thanks for all the reassurance though x
