the baby is connected to your belly button? what do you mean?
your uterus doesn't even reach your belly button until you're 20 weeks, and i'm pretty sure you're not that far along yet.

The umbilical cord is attached to the placenta that is located inside your uterus. Your belly button simply shows the connection you had with your mother-nothing to do with the child inside you.

Youll Be Fine
the baby's fine u have nothing to worry about, little things like that happen all the time and they are going to make you worry and wonder, and most of the time its fine.... If you really think that something might be wrong call your doctors office for more assurance... but most of the time everything is okay... I used to feel that way many times, and you're never really satisfied until the baby is in your arms and even then, you still tend to worry... but it will be okay

In BOTH of your posts, you made it clear that you were concerned about the baby being injured because of pressure to your belly button.
In your 2nd post, you said you knew the baby was connected (to your belly button).
ALthough you didn't actually say it in your 2nd post, everyone took it as that.
Don't get defensive...we're just making sure you understood that the baby isn't connected to your b button.
We're not trying to bully you girl.

Please don't feel you can't post on here. It is normal to wonder about these things when a life is growing inside of you. I had my own little questions as well.
Take care!! I would ask your doctor at your next visit just to give you peace of mind.
