Bump On Gum After Sinus Infection. Posted: 12-27-07 00:20am
A short while ago I had a pretty bad sinus
infection. On the right side of my face
every tooth in my head ached horribly. I
went to the dentist and he examined my
teeth and said nothing was wrong. He did
not take an x-ray, which I requested. I
went on an antibiotic and the infection
subsided. That side of my face was tender
for a week or so and now I have noticed
that I have a bump on my gum over my upper
right first molar. I cannot see it that
well but it is tender to the touch. When
I push on it at times it seems to move.
I take very good care of my teeth, no gum
problems or tooth extractions. The tooth
that has the bump above it had a crown put
on it about a year ago (due to
multi-surface fillings). What could this
possibly be? I am really concerned.

it could be a fever blister--id go in and
have it checked out. id also rinse with
some biotene mouth wash
