Good morning everyone,
I wasnt sure where else to go with this
question. I thought a forum like this
would be the best place.
I, myself, have not been diagnosed with
Bipolar disorder. However, my girlfriend
has Bipolar Disorder but she takes
medication and seems to be pretty
controlled.
My concern is my baby sister. Well she is
20 now and all of a sudden she is having
these episodes that are unreal.
Yesterday, she began to become very
disoriented and pulled down her pants and
pee'd. At that time she told my mom that
her water broke and the baby was coming.
Mind you, my sister is not pregnant. She
also began telling my mom that the
hellicopters were here for her and went
outside to wait for them. No hellicopters
were around.
My mom becoming very worried took her to
the ER and the doctors are claiming this
could be bipolar disorder.
Have any of you ever had episodes like
this?? Is this a symptom of Bipolar?
Any responses are appreciated. You can
respond here or to my personal email which
is [edit for personal information].
thank you all in advance.

Well, it sounds quite delusional. I guess
depending on her other behaviors,
moodwise, would determine if it's bipolar
disorder or not. What's her other
symptoms, have you noticed any other odd
behaviors?

Is she on any medication currently? Is
this the first time? Are you sure she was
not taking some other substances? I have
never had major hallucinations with BP.
