Come on then all of you pro-choicers,
since you have all the answers why don't
you try answering this one:
instead of going to the trouble of killing
another human being, why dont these
harlets just use protection? Then there
would be no baby to kill, or maybe thats
why they don't use protection..........

Protection is not 100% effective. Yes,
ideally their would not be any unwanted
pregnancies. But how many rapists do you
know who use protection????? And how
many people do you actually know who had
protected sex and still get pregnant?
Because it does happen whether you believe
it or not.
And it is not that we "prochoicers have
all of the answers" we just have valid
points which you do not.
And once again, do you even read? This
forum is not to post prolife arguments!
It is a place for woman to come and ask
medical questions about abortion. Or to
ask a woman who has had an abortion what
they should expect, it is not a place for
you to bash these people, so take it
somewhere else!

My point is that abortion should not go
ahead whatever the circumstance - that is
my belief. Since you brought rape up, let
me address that particular issue. Rape is
a vile and disgusting crime - but if it
results in an unwanted pregnancy, then
that baby should be given up for adoption.
It is not the childs fault how it was
conceived.

No it is not the child's fault, but it is
also not the mother's fault. Having to
carry a child and give birth to it as a
result of that vile act would be even more
damaging. Some women do choose to have
the baby and keep it and some also choose
to give it up for adoption. God bless
those women! But not all people can do
that. If I fell pregnant as a result of
rape, I honestly cannot say that I would
be able to carry that child. I really
don't think that I could.
So as I said, every circumstance is
different. Ideally, yes, everyone would
just have the child and give it up for
adoption, but at the same time there are
so many children out there in the "system"
who live their entire lives waiting to be
adopted. And a whole lot of them never
do find homes.
It is just too complicated an issue to say
that it is always wrong, that is my
opinion.

Use protection - hmm typical pro life
answer - no protection is 100%, rapists do
not tend to use it, nor do those who
sexually assault children & nor do
those who want to have a child but then
their circumstances change drastically
after they fall pregnant & they
beleive that it is in the best interests
of all concerned to have an abortion.
There are numreous such situations re the
point above but there will always be
others as each person faces each difficult
situation differently according to their
personal circumstances etc. But of course
pro lifers ignore everyone except the
baby.
As a pro-lifer though I am curious what
would you do if you were carrying a child
which was found (inutero tests) to be
carrying a plague which would kill
millions???? I know the answer.

Good god, I didn't think even you could be
such a hypocrite, dump a new baby alone on
a desert island to die slowly from
exposure & starvation or be eaten by
an animal - that's better than an abortion
is it??

amount of women who actually become
pregnant through rape?
Evidence: surveys of women aborting their
babies indicate that 1% of them are doing
so because of rape or incest. (source:

women have abortions?" family planning
perspectives).
Since 187,000 abortions are carried out in
britain per year & 1.3 million in
america and only 1% are due to rape/incest
then what do you think the other reasons
are?
Evidence: abortions based on the mother's
health account for 3% of abortions,
evidence: abortions based on the baby's
health account for 3% of abortions
so, the 93% remaining are due to reasons
of inconvinience - hardly a good enough
reason now is it?

Why do women have abortions? Because men
get them pregnant -- contrary to the often
heard phrase "got herself pregnant". So
any man who disapproves of abortion should
absolutely ensure the woman's views on the
subject before having sex with her. Using
a condom or believing she is on the pill
ain't good enough. Best thing is probably
to have a vasectomy, just to be sure.

Ok, ill admit that I was wrong about
leaving a baby alone on a desert island.
I have since changed my mind and now
believe that it should be given to wolves
so that they can raise it just like in the
jungle book.
That is the first time I have ever
admitted that I was wrong.

Statistics only account for the people who
report things. Most women do not report
rape. And not everyone is included in
statistics. Only the people who wish to
participate.
But anyway, for those 4% that is why it
must remain legal.

I'm sorry, but I totally disagree.
Abortion is nothing short of homicide. As
I have said in another post, if the woman
doesnt want a baby, then she should give
it up for adoption.

cannot get pregnant, so of course to them
adoption is the only option.
