Why Is It So Hard?

Cleaning! I can do it once I'm into it,
but starting in the first place is just so
hard. My apartment is such a mess! Our
friends are coming tomorrow to stay with
us for the night, and it's Rowan's
birthday party is tomorrow so I can't
clean then (it's not at my place), so I
want this place clean by then but at this
rate it's never going to happen.
Why does getting yourself to get up and
clean have to be so hard!

i have a hard time getting started too,
especially when i've let the place go for
awhile and it's just wrecked. some people
like to tackle the messiest room first to
get it out of the way and go from there,
but i like to start with the easiest
because once i get 1 room done i start
feeling better and it's easier to keep
going. you'll feel good when it's all done
though!
rowan's birthday?! i can't believe it!

Oh hun, you're not alone, first start with
the laundry then the floor then, dust the
furniture etc for me how and why I start
is because someone said that my place was
a pigsty.

The worst part of it all is, how short the
cleanliness lasts! It seems like in no
time it's back to where it started. Two
hours ago I told myself I would start in
15 minutes! How bad is that.
I can't believe she will be one either!
Well her birthday is actually on the 5th
of January, but my sister isn't in town
then so we're having it tomorrow. I don't
have anything planned because I don't even
know what to do with a bunch of little
kids. All I know is I'm making food and
feeding people.

I love to clean the bathroom too!! Give
me some comet and a scrub brush and I go

I JUST cleaned not two days ago and our
place is trashed. We were in a rush
looking for some important info on the way
to the store and did not have time to do
it nicely. No I am paying for that today.

When I can get myself going, I can clean
and clean..it's getting started thats the
hard part. John and I are cleaning and re
organizing this whole place and it wasn't
easy to get started for me, he's really
good at getting himself motivated and just
getting stuff done, so that was kind of my
motivation to get started..I hardly have
any on my own.

Cleaning the house relaxes me as odd as
that may sound. I love it. I could do
without having to pick toys up 500 times a
day but hey, could be worse I guess!

To some point I love cleaning the mess in
my house but then when I see that it'll
get dirty in a while about two hours after
due to kids and the place that I'm staying
it's windly and easily get dusty (I live
on the 9th floor), I'll be screaming like
a mad tarzan (the woman version) so is the
bathroom I hate cleaning the spot in
between the groves it'll get me scrubbing
like last week for nearly two hours - even
that I can't make it spotless clean
arghhhhh! For the ladies who loves
cleaning the toilet any tips for me to
clean the spot in between the grove? I've
tried the toilet cleaner with ammonium
eeeeekh! It's stink!

i tidy and within a few hours it is a mess
again. I just found a great way though of
tidyng the floor cause i am a lazy bones.
I get a sweeping brush and sweep anything
that is on the floor into a pile. toys,
clothes etc... just sweep it into a pile.
then it is so much easier to just pick up
and put away.
it gives you motivation too when you see
the whole pile on the floor lol

It sure does especially after seeing a
whole lot of garbge, after cleaning the
house I feel happy. I always tell myself
that if I want to start cleaning the house
at 11 I'll start at 11 and not a minute
late because by then I'll get lazy!
