Embarrassing Moment

Okay so since Ava was really doing good after her 2nd nap we decided to go out to dinner. It was me, Ava, my mom, her friend, her friend's daughter. Ava was pretty good besides the fact that she threw her noonie, a spoon, her cup, and a piece of toast at the man sitting on the side of us. He kept joking that he'd end up at the er with a fork in his head.
Anyway, of course when my food came she started getting antsy and wanted out of the highchair, so I took her out and waited for my mom to finish so I could eat finally. My mom took and her at that moment a man sat down with a hat like Jesse wears and a beard like Jesse grows when he works for 7 days and doesn't shave. They were about the same size and height. As soon as he sat down Ava got excited and screamed really loud, "DADA!" She was so excited to see her so-called DADA.

Everyone 3 tables down were cracked up laughing and one old lady said, "well the truth is out, now we all know who's her real daddy!"

I am not one to be embarrassed, but I turned red and wanted to leave.
To make matters worse, Ava continued until we left.

She's never done that to any man even Jesse's twin brother that looks almost just like him.

I wanted to die. The guy just laughed then tried to avoid her as she was pretty much yelling "DADA" in his ear until we left.

that's really funny! i can just picture it!

finn's new thing is being ridiculously shy around older men. it seems like a lot of grandpa types like to say hi to him and he does this thing where he puts his head down and won't even move. we were at wendy's and he put his head down on the table and was blindly reaching around for food but afraid to look up. oh, and one day we went in this asian store in the mall and the old man running the store tried to say hi to him and he burst into hysterical tears. i've never seen him do anything even close to that! i felt so bad.

Ava will say, "hello" to everyone she sees, but once they say it back she hides her face and acts shy.

We were at IHOP last week and she was saying hello to an older couple. They didn't hear so she got louder and said it faster and faster while squinting her eyes and wrinkling her nose. When they caught her being silly and yelling at them they started laughing and told her hello back. She immediately sat down near me with her head down. lol
