Chances of Getting Pregrant After Abortion Posted: 12-31-07 04:04am


i had an abortion on the 24the of November but i didn't get my period so far then i had sex on the 21st of Dec on the next day i had cytotec tablets and i was bleeding a little for one day and i had a pregrancy test after 10 days but it's negative. it is possible to be pregrant on this case???

You are NOT PREGNANT the day after you have sex, so the cytotec would not make any difference! PREGNANCY can happen anytime after an abortion, you need to get on birth cotnrol ASAP.

Getting an abortion doesn't make you any less fertile or less suseptible to becoming pregnant again. You need to find a better form of birth control because obviously you don't want children right now. Condoms, spermicide, nuvaring, implant, IUD, the pill, SOMETHING.
