Current medical treatment: zoloft and it
has dropped my sexual libido to nothing"
Given your description, it seems that
excessive masturbation prevents you from
having contact with potential sexual
partners. It's not possible to judge if
you experience sexual dysfunction, or not,
until you try having sex. It is not that
important how you achieve an erection
(masturbation, watching porn movies…)
but whether or not you can get erect in
the presence of a sexual partner.
Excessive masturbation can exhaust sexual
ability, so you might consider avoiding
masturbation for some time and preserve
yourself for some real sex. Furthermore,
depression and antidepressants (Zoloft)
can also affect libido, or sexual desire.
It seems possible that, in your case,
sexual dysfunction is a functional problem
rather than an organic one ... so Viagra
can’t help you much. Instead, you can
consult a mental health doctor about your
problem for diagnosis and treatment
alternatives, including psychotherapy.
