About a month ago I started feeling kind
of a tingling sensation in which my chest
gets a bit tense whenever I make a
downward motion with some force (imagine
making your hand into a fist, and
thrusting it downward). I get this
sensation on my upper chest (the area
bordering my shoulder). This happens also
in the same exact area on my right side
when I thrust my right fist downward.
If I thrust both downward, I get that
tingly sensation in both areas. The
sensation only lasts for about 1.0
second.
I dont feel it in any other type of motion
nor do I have any other symptoms.
The only thing that has been different
lately is that I stopped working out for a
while (I used to almost every day).
Should I schedule an appt with a general
internal doctor, or a cardiologist? Thanks

Prehaps this issue is related to the
nerves. I might suggest seeing a general
doctor to ask for the recommended
specialist. Not sure if you need a
neurologist, orthopedist, PT, or a
cardiologist...or someone else.

I am very curious as to what this might
be. Thanks.

What do you mean "When I thrust downward"?
What kind of motion is this? Also, have
you seen a doctor? Perhaps this is
occurring because of a pinched nerve?
Given that you feel the sensation on the
right side of your body, it doesn't seem
to be affecting your heart. Is this
correct?
