Sexual thoughts while purging Posted: 01-02-08 00:00am
I've recently regressed back into the
habit. I've been on a month long cycle of
binging/purging on a bi-weekly basis.
I have lots of details that I could
discuss about my disorder but I have only
one issue that has compelled me to finally
post on a board about it.
The last few purges I've had sexual
thoughts.
It's a little scary because I can imagine
that this is not common. It's like I have
been using it to distract my mind from
what I'm doing so that I can focus on the
purging. It also seems to be heightening
the "pleasure" I'm receiving from the
Endorphin release associated with my
purging. I'm afraid of the possibilities
of what this could mean.
I am going to an E.D. therapy group
tomorrow night.
Until then I just want to know if anyone
else has this sort of thing happen.
