Hi My one of my best friend is suffering from lung cancer and I want to reduce his pain. Can someone tell me some measure to reduce the pain? If the measures are herbal then it will be more helpful.

What has he received for pain relief already? Is he treated with chemotherapy or radiotherapy? It's good to know that some herbal supplements used as pain killers may interfere with chemotherapy or radiation. On the other side that's not the case with acupuncture. Acupuncture as alternative treatment, was found to be helpful for pain relief when drugs aren't enough, or when the side effects of pain medications become a problem.
