The only reason I don't smoke pot is that
it's illegal. If Erik's mom ever tried to
get custody of Rowan I wouldn't want her
to have anything to use against me. So I
stay away from pot. These things would
make me look like a bad mother (by some
other people's standards).
That said, I don't think pot is evil. I
don't even understand why it's illegal if
alcohol is legal. Driving while under the
influence is responsible for so many
deaths, people die of alcohol poisoning,
etc. Yet for some reason the drug that
makes you want to eat a whole pan of
just-made warm gooey rice crispy squares
and listen to some ska is illegal. Makes
no sense to me.
I miss pot, and it's one of the most
harmless things I've done. I think
alcohol is far more destructive.
As soon as pot is legal I will smoke it
again. That doesn't mean I'm going to
smoke bongs around Rowan, or let her be
around a bunch of stoned strangers, just
like I'm not going to get plastered out of
my mind around her.

Just because you have seen what it does to
*some* people, doesn't mean everyone is
like that. Smoking weed also doesn't mean
someone is immature. I wake up early in
the morning 5 days a week to come in to a
managers job which I got for being
responsible |
WHat I meant by I grew up was "I really
grew up".. meaning I got older and
realized that I had a step son and he
didn't need to see roaches in a ash try
and I had to hide things all the time in
my home if someone one came over and hide
the smell.. I meant I really grew up..
I did not mean you where immature..

you are not a loser!!! fun things are hard
to control.. I like wine.. I don't drink
it everyday but I woudn't mind.. It
doesn't make you a loser..
If you are like me you like the mellow
feeling you get from
it.. |
It's not hard to
control. I have plenty of control, I just
like to do it because it makes me giggle a
little more and also makes me mellow

Everyone has their opinions and that is
fine...I just know how my body reacts to
ANY kind of smoke and would never subject
myself or any one else to it if I can help
it, legal or not. I have never had any
desire to try a cigarette or pot or any
other drug for that matter, I am not a
goody-two-shoes, I just feel, personally
(not trying to offend anyone) I have more
sense than that. I was, stupid enough to
drink underage and that got me into
trouble...now I don't hardly touch the
stuff. Again, this is just my personal
opinion.

to those who think only losers smoke pot,
i think you would be *very* surprised at
the people in your lives who do smoke. (i
don't mean immediate lives like family, i
mean anyone you know.) it's just not
talked about because of the stigma.

I smoked in front of a cop once. . . I
didn't know he was a cop until my friend
brought me to his house. We all chilled
and before we smoked it came out that he
was a cop but didn't care that we smoked.
That was a little scary.

Well if i didn't have my kids i would
still be doing it. I enjoy it, and i miss
it too. Just like Tanya said. But i know
if someone got ahold of information on me
smoking i would be labeled as a bad parent
by a few select people i know, and they
just might turn me into social services,
but it's ok for me to go to a bar, and get
sh%t faced? I don't get it.

My favourite teacher worked nights at the
bar, and if you were there and sat around
talking to him he'd offer to get you
high.
He was the best teacher I have ever had,
and one of the most exceptional and clever
people I've ever known.
He had one wooden leg, and I had one huge
crush.

You know, I don't understand where people
get off saying pot is so horrible for you
and it does this and this and this to you
and it makes you such a bad person and
stupid and immature and incapable. I bet
half the people who say it, never even
tried it. ANd if it's not for you fine,
but you can't label it for a few idiots
mistakes that were made. Hint: it's the
person on the weed that makes the
difference, not the actual weed (if that
makes any sense to any of you).

i've never done it..but i don't have a
problem with it..
my brother and his wife do it
my parents used to do it..
my english teacher at my PRIVATE SCHOOL
did it..
TONS of people you would never expect do
it..
it's not a terrible thing at all..
it's all herbal (unless it's laced..then
it's a bad deal)
but i agree with all you ladies saying
that alcohol is way more dangerous than a
lil marijuana
