My Appt Update-on Meds
Posted: 01-02-08 20:33pm

ok well im going to make this short pretty much because i dont want to talk about being sad anymore

im on 150 mg of welbutrin. the DR also said i need counseling AND to join a teen parent group asap. shes also quite concerned that aside from the depression im haveing panic attacks. so if this doesnt help (it will take 3 weeks to kick in) then shes going to switch me to lexapro for the depression and anxiety but she wants to try this first because its lower dosage and shed rather not have me become a complete zombie like lexapro does.

and
i got on BC femecon fe chewabill bc pill! yay! lol so no more babies for now.

and
travis took me to the mall today and bought be 2 new pairs of jeans Smile because he knew i was feeling upset about haveing to take medications.

im seriously worried about myself.
i am not ok
but i will be. because i got help Very
Happy

Good for you. Very
Happy I was on wellbutrin and one of the side effects(well mine anyway) was rapid weight loss. Just make sure you have something to eat. I lost 20 pounds in a month.

I'm glad you're getting help!

I have a history of depression & panic & anxiety from pre-pregnancy and did take meds in the past but got off them before becoming pregnant. After Tessa was born, I started having bad anxiety & panic attacks & trouble sleeping, so I'm on Zoloft now, and it's helping. I hope the Wellbutrin helps you. I have taken it in the past, but it didn't do much for me (sometimes, it's a struggle, finding the right meds and dosages to help). Hopefully, you will have better luck with the Wellbutrin than I did; I didn't have side effects from it, it just wasn't the right med to help me.

Great work Suzy, it a hard step to take. But you will be on your way in no time. I know that it will take a little while for things to "feel" better, but it will happen., Nothing good ever happens easily.....Best wishes to you and Travis.
