I came back from the Carribean 2 months
ago, and have suffered itchy skin since
then. When I scratch it it either poduces
a raised red skin, or a red rash. I can
control the itching with anti-histamines,
but if i dont take them, the itching
returns.
Any ideas?

Given your description, it seems that you
could be experiencing some type of
allergic skin reaction. The pre-existing
condition you listed (asthma) indicates
that you already have the potential for
developing allergic reactions. The only
thing you can do for now is to avoid
scratching the area and to take the
anti-histamines until you get the itchy
skin diagnosed by a dermatologist.
