pregnancy or period symptoms ? Posted: 01-03-08 12:27pm
I stopped taking Birth Control in November
and today is January 3rd and I'm expecting
my period tomorrow, but my husband and I
had unprotected sex during the month of
December and now I'm starting to have a
couple of pregnancy as well as period
symptoms. I got the nauesa, the sore
breasts, the urination all the time, the
headaches, but at the same time I have the
bloating(I'm asuming), the cramps. I just
don't know, If anyone can give me some
advice that would be so great.

All those symptoms could be either PMS or
pregnancy.
Wait to see if you're late.
If you don't start your period tomorrow,
take a pregnancy test. If your period may
be irregular, give yourself 3 weeks since
the last time you had unprotected sex and
if you still haven't started, TEST.
By then, if you are pregnant and going off
the BC hasn't thrown your schedule out of
whack, you would have enough hcg in your
urine to show up in a home pregnancy
test.
Did you get off BC in hopes of becoming
pregnant?
A week after I concieved, the only odd
symptom I had was tender nipples. Only
usual PMS symptom I had was my boobs felt
"fuller" but this was normal about a week
before I start. I never felt like my
period was coming except for come mild
cramps around that time too. And no
morning sickness until much later and it
only lasted 2 weeks.
