Her eyes are so beautiful I love the shape of them. Do you nurse? Because she is one healthy baby!

: ) I remember you saying saomething about people who complain about not getting picture comments before you had Eadie.

She is a cutie! I love her eyes, they are so beautiful. She seems to really like her Jolly Jumper. Rowan only used hers a handful of times, and would get bored of it within a couple of minutes.

Thanks for sharing!

i wasn't complaining i was just laughing at myself for caring.

thanks for the nice comments ladies, i really do appreciate them. i don't know about coming to this forum sometimes. there are some really genuinely nice and kind hearted people here and that's what keeps me coming back. a lot of times it just leaves me feeling like a piece of you know what. rich keeps telling me to stop but i don't get out much and adult conversation is hard to come by these days. i don't know why i'm even saying any of this. this post was just supposed to be a chance to share how cute my baby girl is but i just had a really nice evening out with rich and was in a good mood until i came on here. i'm sure some will be rolling their eyes at this but maybe i do need to take a break and get centered. i think i will do that for a while.

Karen,

Eadie is so beautiful. Thanks so much for posting a video. I loved seeing her bounce around. I was cracking up. Brian has a bouncer but doesn't bounce nearly as much.

Very cute!!!

thank you sweet ladies. she is dancing to the music that the little pink horse in the picture plays. she got that horse for christmas and it has that goofy song on it that she likes to jump to.

bah...i've been feeling so pissy lately. i seriously need a good nap. i'm only getting about 4 hours of sleep a night max and that is scattered here and there, not all together. rich snores like it's going out of fashion and it never bothered me much before, but now it wakes eadie up and i literally spend most of the night trying to get her to stay asleep. i could just punch him sometimes but i do my best not to get grumpy about it because i know he can't help himself. eadie wants to sleep with us so bad and she usually ends up getting her way at some point during the night because i'm too tired to keep fighting it and i have to keep her quiet so rich can sleep. so when she's in bed with us i don't sleep because there isn't enough room and i'm scared something will happen. i end up contorting myself into uncomfortable positions so she can have enough room. i feel like i'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown from sleep deprivation over months and months and people just laugh and say, yeah that's motherhood. time to start her on solids i guess. she had the cereal a few times in the morning but then she got a little dehydrated and now she's getting over a cold that she caught sometime during the christmas social scene. i've had a few moments where i seriously thought i might faint and some moments where i blanked out for a while. hope i don't have to keep this up much longer.

Wow! I am so sorry. I don't get a lot of sleep only because lil' man is constantly eating. He now eats every two hours at night. At first, he slept through the night. It's really hard on the days I have to work, which luckily isn't very often.

As for your husband, I would see if he could get that snoring looked at for all your sakes. Do you think he may have sleep apnea? There are usually ways to stop the snoring. That would drive me absolutely crazy. I am such a light sleeper, there is no way that we could sleep in the same room if my husband were a snorer. He sometimes smacks his lips like he is eating and I have to slap him to get him to stop. It drives me nuts.

Brian sleeps with us. We have a huge bed and my husband and I don't move during the night. I also don't sleep with a pillow just in case I do end up moving more than usual. So, I am not very comfortable at all. I usually wake up in the morning with a sore neck due to my strange contortions as well. I think I get about four hours of sleep a night, if I am lucky. I love the weekends because I get a nap in the middle of the day while my husband watches the kids. He knows it's for his own good to let me nap or I am extremely pissy.

I have tried feeding rice cereal to Brian but he just pushes it out with his tongue. I give him a little some everyday for lunch but he really isn't eating anything. He just laughs at me. This every two hours at night is killing me. It's better to cosleep for me rather than getting up, going to the crib, nursing him and then going back to sleep in my own bed. That would cause me to go into more sleep deprivation. I am still half way awake at night just making sure Brian is alright.

Does Eadie take nice long naps? If so, do you allow yourself to nap while she does?? That is the only thing that kept me sane with my first. I can't really do that now because Nate doesn't nap:( OH....please please please, take your naps when Eadie does!!! Everything else can wait and really doesn't matter at this point.

As for the people that say...motherhood...grrr.... Some people are literally able to have more deep sleep than others. I hope you get some sleep soon.

Hang in there.

I promise the sleeping thing does get better.

(I hope you didn't take my comment before as offensive because I didn't mean it as such, though it was probably a stupid time to say it.)

thanks karin, as usual you are a a big help. i do try to nap with her and she often sleeps for about two hours if i lie down with her. if not, 20 minutes max. i call her the queen of the 20 minute nap, lol. i know it will get better though. just, sometimes you hit that level where you feel like you can't cope anymore and you just need to vent a little bit. i know that it will all be over soon and i will be wishing she was a tiny baby again and missing having her so close to me all the time when she is sleeping through the night on her own. thanks again ladies. this post turned into something i hadn't intended it to be!! but that's life.
