Periods Completely Stopped Posted: 01-03-08 21:05pm
I got my period when I was 12 years old,
everything normal, but about a year and a
half ago, it completely stopped. My
doctor said to wait a while, but does
anyone know what it might possibly be?
I am not pregnant.
Thyroid levels are normal.
No stress.
No crazy acne or male pattern hair.
No weight loss or gain.
My clitorous is larger than normal, so I'm
guessing this has something to do with it.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. You might
want to look into that. I havent had
regular periods for years because of it.
Just a suggestion.

I think that is def a possibility, but I
don't have many of the symptoms such as
excessive weight at all, no excessive
weight around the hips, no oily skin, no
dark skin patches no skin tags.
