irregular cycle since miscarriage Posted: 01-04-08 15:12pm
Ever since my MC in june my body has
slowly been go all wacky. I have been
missing periods or being extremely late
for the last 6 months. Right now I am
almost a month late and the test I took a
few days after I missed my period wich was
negative. I have had really bad back pains
on my left lower half for months which now
seem to have disapeared for the time
being. I am not sure whats going on and I
am fearful of going to the doctor in fear
that I have PCOS like my sister. I admit I
have been having the beard hair growth and
some other symptoms but I am really
scared. I want a baby soo badly I have
since I was a little girl and what if my
chances are ruined? I need advice guys
Well I can't give you too much advice
about PCOS because I don't know too much
about it but I too suffered a m/c in July
and my body is still not back to normal.
For me usually(before m/c) I can tell
exactly when I am ovulating (by CM and
tenderness) however since then I have no
idea. My body isn't giving me any signs at
all. I just don't feel right. My cycles
used to be around 29 days but now they go
from 35 to 45 days long. It is super
frustrating!!!
And now for about a week before my period
I start feeling nauseous, back pain and a
lot of cramping......it almost feels like
what it felt like when I was pregnant. I
never had that before either. I too really
don't know what to do anymore...everyone
tells me to give it time to let my body
get back to normal but you would think
that by now it would be. Like how long is
this supposed to take????
Are you temping or anything like that? Did
you have trouble conceiving the 1st time?
I know your scared but maybe it wouldn't
be a bad idea to see your doctor about it.
At least you know that you "can" get
pregnant, maybe you just need a little
help to make it happen faster. I am so
sorry hun that this is happening to
you...I really wish that I could be of
more help to you.
I hope that our bodies finally get back to
normal and we get our bfp's really soon!!!

At least I am not the only one with this
problem =0) I feel better now. Yeah I get
the breast tenderness to but yeah I cannot
figure out anything by my body anymore.
Grr I tested again when I got home and
still a bfn. Well we tried for about a
year before I got the BFP and mc'd We will
see grrrr
This is so bizarre........pretty much
right after I posted I went to the
washroom and I finally got a sign that I
just might O this month. I had lots of
that egg white kind of cm. So I am
thinking that it just might happen this
weekend.
So maybe people are right when they say
give your body time to adjust.....I don't
know. Do you temp? Or take those ovulation
predictor things ( I don't because they
are too expensive for me) but I was just
wondering if you know if you are O'ing or
not. Did you have regular cycles before
the m/c? Also there are a couple of girls
who have gotten pregnant after being
diagnosed with PCOS and are going on to
have healthy babies. So if I were you I
would go to the doctors and let them know
how irregular your cycles are.
Feel free to pm it you ever need to
talk.....Shannah

Honestly it made me go insane. I am not
sure if I am o'ing but I do get sore bb's
just no AF. Yes I was regular almost to
the second before I mc'd

I know how hard this is for you, but you
really should see a dr. I have been going
thru all the same things, and I had a
early mc in July. Finding out I have PCOS
was the best thing that has ever happened
to me. I have lost 25lbs with just the
pcos diet alone, no meds, I ovulate
now(clomid, but it works!) and my periods
are like clockwork, which they never have
been before. You may be like me, I have a
mild case of pcos, no cysts on my ovaries,
just my bloodwork(insulin) is alittle off.
One small thing can throw off your whole
cycle, and stop you from conceiving or
carrying to full term. Don't think of it
as a bad thing, it may be just a small
tweak to get you your baby. Good luck, we
are all here for you.

I had a miscarriage Dec. '06, it's a hard
thing to go through, but I agree that you
should check with your Dr. I found out
that my miscarriage was because of my
septated uterus. The sooner you find out
what might be wrong, the sooner it can get
fixed and the closer you are to having
babies. I'm like you, I've wanted to be a
mother since I was a little girl, for some
of us, it'll just take a little more
time.
Good luck, and pm me if you need to!
