I might have to be induced this weds because my baby is getting to be rather large and we dont want any complications, I just hope she comes naturally before then. If not then I will have it done to make sure she is safe. Anyways has anyone been through this before and if so can you tell me all the details of being induced please? Thanks! Smile

My Dr. has me scheduled for an induction to be done this teus because my daughter won't come out on her own it seems. I've had my membranes stripped but it diddnt work for me. I'm at 3 1/2 cm dialated and 90% effaced. I really hope she comes out before teus, I'd prefer things to happen naturally ya know. I will have the induction done tho if she dosnt pop out before teus because the Dr. has mentioned it could become dangerous if I dont because my daughter has already become so large. Just thought I'd share. Smile

?... well. id like to hear this one explained Laughing

I guess I'm not very good at calculating exact days I just go by what baby.com sends me every week on my progess. Each week they send me an update according to my due date that I gave them, seeing I don't check my email daily I am usually a day or two off, no biggie to me but I should have back trackedf and made it more clear. Sad My due date was dec 31st, I'll have to count the days and try to be exact, sorry. I just cant wait until shes out, been stressing on it.

Well now that I screwed up by not being perfect and exact on dates and what not, does anyone still have any advice on being induced? I still would like to know even if I don't keep track of every detail. Guess its the stress, I'll try real hard to be very precise next time. Sad

I don't really have any advice on being induced. This is my first as well. My sister in law was induced twice and everything went fine with hers. Of course, she had an epidural with all three of her deliveries so that would make it a little easier. Just go in there expecting anything to happen and that should make it a little easier. If this is your first though, you probably will be nervous. I hope everything goes well for you!

This is my first and I just hope all goes smooth. Most likely it will. Smile I really wish I won't have to be induced but it looks like I don't have a choice if she stays in there because she is getting to be quite large and the Dr. is concerned. Thankyou for replying to me and giving me advice. I will go into the hospital with an open mind and be ready to expect anything to happen. Smile
