I am 20. My boyfriend (who's 25) and I
have been together for 5yrs. We've been
living together for 2yrs. I am ready to be
a mom, but getting the point across isnt
so easy. We're doing okay financially, i
make about 30,000-45,000/yr. I think his
biggest concern is that he wants to make
money and buy a house before we have a
baby, but i dnt feel those things are
necessary to prepare for a family. "Be
patient, your still young" he says. How do
I get him to understand that I cant change
the way I feel. I am ready to be a mom,
and my patience has run out!

So you were 15 and he was 20 when you
started dating?
edit to add: You should take his concerns
into consideration and just be patient.
You need to be on the same page before
deciding to start a family.

you defintely need to wait until you are
BOTH ready. You are still very young. You
have plenty of time to have a family.
