I Guess I Get What I Wanted...sorta

So, I just found out my ex. (baby's
father) might be moving to Tenn. I was
really hoping he'd be around to be part of
the baby's life at least a little bit but,
at the same time I wanted him gone for how
he treated me at the end of our
relationship.
IF he moves to Tenn. that means Dallas can
raise this baby as his own without the
interference of Devon which we both some
what want.
As much as I dislike Devon I DON'T want
him out of my life and that far away. I
mean this IS his baby to, He should be a
part of his life. He still thinks it would
be best for me to give him up but the fact
that I AM keeping him doesn't make him
dislike me or not want to be a part of his
child's life. Or so I thought.
I still care for Devon a little then again
I will always in some way care for all of
my exes. But this was just a HUGE shock to
me and makes me a bit upset that he's just
now telling me this. We're really good
friends so I would have thought I'd have
known sooner.
I hope he decides to not go.

he sounds like he wants to be in the babys
life.. he just seems to think it would be
best (Probably) due to ur financial
situation to give the baby up. He probably
isnt secure enough in his finances and
feels he couldnt provide for the baby the
way he feels it should be, which is
commendable.
I hope he doesnt move, as it would be nice
for the child to know their real father.
but if he feels its in his best interest
(and yours) then so be it. It sucks.. but
what can you do?

Suzy- I asked why he is moving and I have
not got a response and probably wont until
some time tomorrow.
It is very sucky
Sandy- He did say he wants to be a part of
the baby's life no matter what I did. Keep
him or give him up (we would have done
open adoption with a family friend)
That is EXACTLY why he wanted me to give
up the baby and well because of our ages.
He has a temp job working with him mom now
till march and is looking for a full time.
Well was looking. I told him he didn't
have to provide for the baby and he said
ok but he'd still help out when he could.
He's more worried about finishing
college.
I agree. It would be nice for him to know
his real father. He can be a great guy
most of the time and would make a
wonderful dad. I know I can't stop him but
I wish I could. I just think he's not
ready to be a dad at all.

well you are both young.. it was scary
when i became a mom at 23.. i cant imagine
being 16 or 17 with a baby. I'm proud of
you guys for being so responsible about
keeping the baby. It shows maturity and
that you are being responsible for your
own actions.
He'll come around. Especially if he
manages to be there when the baby is born.

I don't know his reasons for leaving.
Lol. I don't think Devon would be up that
fast but I do think he'd try to get there.
His mom and grandma might try to stop them
but screw them both.

yeah, I was about 5.5-6 months pregnant
when we broke up and less than a week
later they got together.... Then he
cheated on her the first two weeks with
me. We still lived together..and I had no
clue they were together or I wouldn't have
let that happen...
