36/37 Week Dr. Appt!!

Soooo....I'm really 36 weeks, but I make
37 weeks tomorrow and my Dr. always says
I'm there for the ladder. Being that my
uterus is measuring on the large side of
37cm.
Anyways...
I stepped on the scale, and LOST 3
1/2lbs!!!!!!! I'm down to 24 1/2lbs!!!!!
I was SHOCKED that I could lose that much
weight within just a WEEK!! But hell, I
was NOT complaining!!
So, he ckecked me, and I'm STILL a
fingertip. And he said "yea, she'll be on
time...I doubt HIGHLY she'll come at 37
weeks."
That was music to my ears!!! I want her in
there for as LONG as possible!! I'm in NO
rush to meet her, at ALL!! She needs to
bake for as long as she wants!!

geez. lucky. you only gain 28 lbs THEN
lost 3.5 lbs. I need to lose a bit. I've
gained TOO much. doc. is a bit worried.
I'm glad everything is still going good
and that it doesn't look like she'll come
early

penis!!! He says "I'm NOT having sex
with you!!! We're NOT ready for the baby,
and she's NOT ready for us!!! DO you WANT
to have this baby at 37 weeks like

I tried to talk him into it when I got
home from my appt. I thought maybe he'd
give in being that I haven't changed! But
he refuses!!

The ONLY reason I didn't gain more is
because I learned my lesson with my
daughter!
I gained 60lbs and only made it to 37
weeks. Imagine if I had gone to my due
date!!!!  I would have
gained prob about 70/75!!!
My Dr wasn't concerned though...he TRIED
to warn me!! lol!! But I wouldn't listen!!

well, he's worried about endimetreosis
(sp?) and toxemia..not so much the weight
gain just how much I gained in such a
short time.

With Oni, on average I gained no *less*
than 12lbs per month!

I could do that but all I do is retain
fluid. Oh well. I'm glad everything's

I didn't retain any fluid for Oni, so I'm
not sure if I will for this one!
BUT, I also never made it past this week,
soooo, that could allll change!!!!!
I hope I don't lose anymore weight though,
I'll start to worry if I do!!

Don't worry about weight loss. It is
COMMON to lose weight in the last month of
pregnancy (I'm amazed your doctor didn't
say that. What is with doctors anyway?
Sheesh!) due to not having as much room in
your stomach therefore not eating as much
or as often because of wiggly baby. Your
3.5 lbs was more than likely water weight
- because it came off in a week's time.
Water weight can fluctuate depending on
the salty things you eat and the amount of
fluid you are retaining/not retaining.
I lost 5lbs my last 2 weeks and my doctor
said it is 100% completely NORMAL. Relax
And go have sex!
LOL!

He did say it was completely normal, so
did the nurse. I'm just soooo not used to
losing any kinda weight during
pregnancy!!
I have noticed that I'm not hungry,
really, at all!! And I blame baby in the
belly for that one! LOL!
It just makes me worry because I 'assumed'
the scale would calculate the baby's
weight gain. It just makes me worry that
she's not gaining any weight!
You'd think this was my first kid with the
way I worry about certain things!! LOL!
I'm sure it was water too!! There's no WAY
I could lose fat within 7 days...I don't
think!!
It's crazy that I have people telling me
that I don't look like I'm due in 3 weeks,
that I'm too small. But then there are
other people who are like "DAMN!! You're
about to POP!!" It's sooooo nerve
wracking!! LOL
