Extreme pressure in head
Posted: 01-08-08 21:24pm

Hi all, I wondering if someone can help me or point me in the right direction.

For the past two weeks I've been having these feelings of terrible pressure on my head (all over I think, though it's hard to tell). They come on maybe twice or three times a day, usually at the same times every day, and go away after about an hour. When they go away I get pressure and dull pains on the bridge of my nose and temples and get flushed in the face. Also, I feel like crying for no reason. I'm not sad at all, but my eyes get irritated and it feels like I could easily just cry a lot if I let myself.

I might add that I'm not depressed in any way, so the urge to cry has really baffled me.

Does this sound familiar to any one?

Edit: I should probably add that I get a stiff neck along with the pressure. Just to confuse you even more.

Do you think that maybe this is an anxiety problem? That's what it sounds like to me. Maybe if you took your post over there, you would get a little more help.

Thanks mominashoe. I think it's possible, since I have had anxiety before. The way I usually get over anxiety is to keep myself busy all day and not let myself think about things, so I'll give that a shot and see if it gets better. Smile
