Starting the Pill After Pregnancy Posted: 01-09-08 15:24pm
I had my second child on November 2, 2007.
I did not get a post-partum period but
started on Tri-Sprintec on the Sunday
after my 6-week checkup. On the 8th day of
taking my pills, my husband and I had
intercourse. Is there any chance of me
getting pregnant, or would I be adequately
protected after 8 days on the pill? I have
been feeling incredibly sick to my
stomach, which I'm thinking could be a
side effect of the pill.
I am done having children and am a bit
freaked out that I could be pregnant.

You should be totally fine If the pills are
causing nausea you could try taking them
at a different time of day.
