social anxiety disorder and depression and can't eat Posted: 01-09-08 17:58pm
Just to tell you a little about myself. I
have social anxiety disorder and some
depression.
I've been going through periods where I
don't eat anything at all. It's been 3
days and I've only had a handfull of
crackers right now.
If I get upset I throw everything up and I
get upset a lot with the disorder. If I
feel sick I can't eat. If I don't get
enough sleep I can't eat. If I get
headaches I can't eat. If I'm feeling
depressed or sad I don't eat. I'll just
throw up afterwards and I can see my
health deteriorating.
I don't know if this if psychological or
what it could be. I'm asking for advice as
well as maybe some sort of meal
replacement drink or supplement that is
highly nutritious and high in calories
that will be easy for me to force my body
to keep down. I've tried some before but
they have such a bad taste that it's hard
to keep down and they feel so heavy
because they are added with milk.
I'm getting really worried. It's not
normal to go 3+ days without eating and to
not feel hungry or a desire to eat.
