I know I made a post about this LONG ago
but. . . .
Ok, so I have a friend who's family has a
history with ghosts and stuff. Their
family is really open to that stuff and he
has seen them almost all his life. Well he
has been having weird stuff happen to him
lately. Sometime ago, he played with a
wigi board and never closed himself out.
He called his auntand told her what has
been going on and she came over, did some
stuff with the board again and took
pictures. Lots of things came up on them
too.
Do you guys believe in ghosts? have you
ever seen one?Are you scared of them? Do
you think they can harm you?
I'm supposed to go to his house this
weekend because his aunt is bringing the
wiji board back to close him out and I
don't knwo what else. I want to go but I
don't want to get hurt. i use to watch
stuff on T.V. about ghost throwing things
and stuff, tht freaks me out. Sorry if I
sound odd or crazy. I am interested in
this stuff but it freaks me out. Would you
go if you were me?

If it scares you, I would suggest you
don't go. I find it interesting - but not
in a ghosts are totally fer real kind of
way. More in a... 'well, maybe' kind of
way.
Think of it this way, a HUGE number of
people have died. HUGE. Why aren't we
'seeing' more ghosts then? I mean, why
isn't EVERYWHERE haunted? Because only
precious people get to come back? Or
really bad people? Or people connnected to
places? Hooey. I think there is probably a
rational way to explain everything.
Ever watch Ghost Hunters? The majority of
time they debunk what 'could' be ghosts
and find it is normal house sounds (pipes,
loose boards, wind on windows, etc) - and
incredibly RARELY they might find
something.
Don't go if you are afraid. There is no
need to scare yourself

Well, there aren't more because the ghosts
that are there following him
around, have not gone to heaven. they are
stuck on earth due to unfinished business.
Since he played with the wiji board he
opened himself up to it, meaning they see
him as a portal or as help to finish their
business here. He said if I don't touch
the board I should be fine.
I am scared but that kind of thing
fascinates me a lot and I thout it would
be interesting to do.
I have the pics if you guys want to see.

My point was, if this is scary for you -
then you shouldn't do it - because chances
are that you will find something out of
the ordinary to be scary. The situation
will make something that could be semi
frightening, very frightening.
How did these particular souls not make it
to heaven, do you think? I'm curious.
My BFF in middle school was always talking
about ghosts in her house. Except, I
literally LIVED at her house for 3 years
and I never saw or heard a single,
solitary thing. But she insisted that she
saw a ghost of a little boy once and knew
her house was haunted. - I had no
experience of that at all.

Have you ever seen the show "ghost
hunters" on the sci fi channel?? They're
all about disproving the sightings of
ghosts.
I believe in them, but to an extent.
I think the human brain can trick itself
into thinking something is there. And if
there are people barking in your ear about
the ghosts, your brain is more likely to
see/hear something that REALLY isn't
there.
I don't know Melissa. Living in New
Orleans, we're basically KNOWN for our
VOODOO and hauntings (myrtle
plantation(which was JUST proven haunted
by the ghost hunters), along with all our
other plantations).
But I'm not one to jump and say Oh I saw a
ghost!! Or oh the ghost hurt me!!
Ya know what I'm saying?
I'd go. Don't be scared. Unlike what you
hear, ghosts can't hurt you. It's all in
the imagination!

I wouldn't go. Even if you had nerves of
steel, you weren't there when he opened
it, you being there would interfere and
probably make the ghost mad.
I wholeheartedly believe in ghosts. In
fact, Earl's ex wife is always walking
around and coming into my mind. His son
always sees her as well, and it actually
puts Earl's mind at peace because she
always said she'd look after him and
that's exactly what she's doing.
When I was little, there was something
standing on my bed (like my sister was
coming off the top bunk), and of course it
was right next to the closet. But I
somehow got enough courage to put my hand
in the spot and it was ICY! I still don't
know how I got to sleep that night.
Ghosts can't hurt you, but demons can. Ask
my friend Steve. Ever since he was little
(like 5ish) a dark figured man with red
eyes follows him and will occasionally
scratch his leg, always in the same exact
spot too. Not to where it bleeds, but
kinda like a dog scratch. I watched it
form one time, so that's enough for me.
There's a place where I used to live, we
would go and take pictures at night. There
was PLENTY of evidence that there was
something supernatural there. Ever take a
picture of someone smoking at night?
that's what it looked like, but there was
NO smoke anywhere near us. I'm gonna have
to find those pictures... But in the
'smoke' there was a face that was
screaming, so I don't think they like us.
id be hesitant to go, gah whyd i open this
when i get to be home alone tonight after
the kids are in bed lol. but ibeleive in
ghosts etc. Like iwould wanna go but i
dont know if i could actually get the
nerve to go , my mom has seen alot of
ghosts when she was livng in england, ill
have to tell some stories in a lil while
after i put the kids to bed so ican
actually type it out, im sweeping right
now, but ooh i wannna see the pics.

I get what you are
saying. On another note about your friend,
my mom sees things and so does my sister
but I have not seen anything but out of
the corner of my eye. We all live in the
same house. my mom said it's because i'm
not open to seeing them even though I
believe.

I've seen LOTS of shows
proving it and some actually show things
being tossed around the room. Once, I was
in bed, I had a bunk bed so when you sat
on it, it made noise and moved very
easily. I was turned towards the wall and
felt/heard my bed go down like someone sat
on it. I thought it was my cat but when I
turned around there was nothing there. I
couldn't trick myself into thinking
something was there because 1. I wasn't
thinking abotu things like that, I thought
it was my cat and 2. I FELT and heard my
bed move. there was no explanation for it.

Never thoguht of that.
there are about 3 spirits in his
apartment. One who said her name was Lori,
she is playful and the other wouldn't
talk. His aunt said he was negative and
wouldn't even really come out but to the
end of the short hallway. That spirit
wants my friend out. She saw another when
she took pics and it seemed that it and
the negative one always stayed around each
other.

Not the exact same as my mom but she sees
her grandmother and her mother. We smell
my nana sometimes too.

I have a picture of me when I was 13 or 14
& someone was smoking & in the
smoke there was a face of an old man. It
was clear as day. I'll have to see if I
can find that picture. We found out later
that 2 old men had died in the house near
the window where I was sitting when I had
that picture taken..

lol ok I'll start with the most recent..
about... 6 months ago??
I was laying in bed one night tossing and
turning and all of a sudden it felt like
something was pushing down on my chest not
letting me move. I tried to reach for Rob,
i tried screaming for him but i couldn't
move and all that came out was a raspy
whisper. I could hear something whispering
in my ear.. but i couldn't make out what
it was. It sounded mean tho. So i got my
ass up and went next door to my moms and
sat on her couch crying i was terrified
lol.
Another one.. lets see, these aren't
scary, but still paranormal.
My mom was about.. 15 years old, walking
down some street in Virginia where her and
her family lived at the time (my
grandfather was Air Force so they moved a
lot) anyway, she felt like somebody was
following her, and turned around and there
was this guy dressed as she described as
looking like Abraham Lincoln.. same type
of clothes and hat. Well she started
running, ran a few steps, turned around
and he was gone. and apparently it was an
open area with nothing for him to hide
behind.
Then, about a year before my grandpa
died... back in.. 2000.. my grandmother
had bought a dresser at a church rummage
sale and brought it home and set her bible
on it.. in the middle of the night she
watched it open and start flipping pages
like somebody was leafing thru it.
Hmm.. lets see... my grandma sees stuff..
like, evil faces on her ceiling.. OH OH OH
Her house.. is HAUNTED. I'm dead serious.
Like, she called my mom HYSTERICAL one
evening because it was just her and my 10
year old uncle Camry there, they had just
gotten home from grocery shopping when all
of a sudden they could hear the doors
start slamming shut in the back of the
house. So my mom had to drive over there
to make sure there were no intruders and
stuff. No one there. My brother (who lives
with my grandma) has heard voices behind
him... hes gotten so used to it he tells
them to shut up lol.
I have more if anyone wants to hear
them... my family isn't crazy i swear lol.
I wanna hear more, when my mom was
pregnant once she woke up in the middle of
the night to pee and saw what looked like
the grim reaper with a top hat on looked
about 7ft tall. It started turning its
head towards her and thats when she jumped
back in the bed until morning, they sound
alot better when my mom tells them lol.
lemme think of some more.....
