speak to a doctor about that.

at every appt, they should do a pregnancy
test. If they tested your urine, it SHOULD
HAVE come back positive.
They SHOULD have seen this before giving
you the shot!!!!

but i've read many cases where people
don't even know they are pregnant until
seven weeks or even later with a urine
test. that sounds serious, though,
cristal. you should really check into it.

7 weeks is A LOT more different than 6
months. By 6months, someone should know
they are pregnant.

It doesn't have to cause problems. I mean,
it can. But that doesn't mean it always
does.
You need to make an appointment with your
doctor. BTW, how did you know you were 6
weeks pregnant when you got the depo?

Your health care provider should make sure
that you are not pregnant before
administering a Depo shot, either through
a pregnancy test or by assessing your risk
of pregnancy based on your sexual behavior
(or both).
It is important to rule out pregnancy
before administering Depo because, though
small, there are some risks to you and
your pregnancy. Depo-Provera provides a
slow release of progestogen, which is a
synthetic compound that works like the
hormone progesterone. Early studies
suggested that progestongens can cause
fetal anomalies, but the risk is pretty
small (about 2%). More recent data
indicates that progesterone is safe. So,
although negative effects could result
from an accidental Depo shot during early
pregnancy, it is unlikely. In most cases,
it is not a cause for alarm.

I was never tested before I got the Depo
injection, they just asked me was I
pregnant? They usually wait for you to be
on your period when they give you the jab
though so you know for sure.
