Mmr Immunization before first birthday Posted: 01-11-08 10:11am
My girls were given the MMR shot two days
before their 1st birthday, they also had
their boosters. Now the health unit says
they have to be re-immunized because the
first shot was before their fisrt
birthday.
I'm concerned about this, I can't see how
48 hours is going to make a big
difference.
Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Are they receiving their booster shot
(around age 4 or 5). That's pretty
standard before kids go to school. MMR
(measles, mumps and rubella) vaccinations,
however, can be bypassed. How old are
your girls?
