Where is a good place to make one? I'm
thinking Target, possibly.
Thanks

make as many as you want, i had one at
walmart and one at babies r us, some
people may like shoping at one store over
another...thats my theory anyway....plus
its kinda fun and some things you can only
find at certain places and not others
plus at babies r us you get this little
gift pack thing with a ortho pro pacifier
and a bottle and a diaper sample and stuff
in it

Usually showers are somewhere in the last
4 weeks before birth. But if you are
having TWO. I'd have one before and one
after. Because you may have other things
you might need. Besides, everyone LOVES to
see the new baby!

too expensive compared to other places. I
had my shower 7 weeks before my due date.
Really it is up to you but you shouldnt be
throwing your own shower thats a little
weird !

I agree. Throwing your own shower is like
begging for gifts and is considered
tacky.

I'm not throwing my own. My mom is
throwing mine in Ellsworth and my friend
Jess is throwing mine in Bangor. They just
want a time frame of when to plan them.

You can't get crap registering online at
Target, they don't have a great selection.
You'll have to actually go to the store
and scan and add stuff.
I'm still registered at Babies R Us, they
have a great online selection.

what you are the only one that can plan
anything? I really dont think anyone in my
family even cares about a baby
shower....that sucks.

I will probably throw my own too. We
usually just eat during baby showers. The
women cook and prepare the food and the
men grill and drink. Nothing special. I
didnt know it was tackey either. I agree
with katrina, either way you are asking
for presents

Who wouldn't ask for presents? Haha. I'm
not going to tell them not to throw one
for me. By all means I will help them! We
need all the help we can get

The more varitey of stores you choose, the
less you'll have to return becuase of
double gifting.
People are likely to get the same thing if
you only choose from one store. And A LOT
of people don't use the registry
correctly. They don't give it to the
cashier to mark off what they've
bought!!!
Oh, and DON'T look at the registry before
your shower!! I did that and CRIED because
I thought I wasn't going to get
ANYTHING!!!!! People either didn't use the
registry, or didn't use it properly!!!!
I had mine at 35 weeks!!! I'm gonna have
this sprinkle shower at 38 weeks!!!
(cuttin it kinda close!! LOL!)
