pregnancy or pill symptoms ? Posted: 01-12-08 05:16am
Hi everyone,
Just a quick question - I am seeing a
doctor in 4 days but am a little impatient
waiting until then.
I have been on a combination pill for
almost 6 years with the lightest hormone
levels possible. Last month my period came
later than usual, lasted for only 3 days
instead of the normal 4-5 and was
extremely light and painless, which is not
normal for me. That was on December 26,
2007.
Today (January 12) i have had a light
brown-reddish discharge in the morning
which lasted for about 2-3 hours and just
light white discharge now. For the last 3
days and still now I have had light
abdominal cramps, nausea in the morning
and a lack of appetite.
As I am on the pill, one would assume that
I am not pregnant. I have looked into the
topic of ovarian cysts, but as I am on the
pill, i should technically not ovulate,
and hence the likelihood of ovarian cysts
is very low.
my period is not due for another 10 days.
This is all probably not looking like I am
actually pregnant, but I am wondering if
anyone else has had a similar experience -
whether you were eventually pregnant or
not. Keeping in mind that I have taken one
and the same pill and brand for the last 6
years and never ever had anything similar
happening.
Cheers and thanks for your answers!
