fleshy discharge

I hope this is the right place to post... I'll try and explain this the best I can. I also apologise in advance for any graphic detail.

I'm on the pill so I'm thinking this could be a result of it. I also haven't had a period since October since I take the pill often for months at a time due to endometriosis and heavy/painful menstrual cycles. I also don't have a partner.

Is it normal for a fleshy-type discharge to appear? Even just once in half a dozen cycles? It's happened a few times now (only once per period though) but not with every period. I'm thinking this is just my uterus lining and perhaps its thicker because I haven't had a period for a few months. Normally I have extremely bad cramps before passing whatever it is.

It just feels very odd to pass such a large piece of unknown matter. The first time it was perhaps an inch or two square in size and fell into my towel so I curiously felt it and it was just "fleshy" and pinkish in colour. Today I passed something similar in the bathroom but didn't get too close of a look. It was more two inches long and less thick than the first time and didn't look all that pleasant. Not your regular blood clot anyway.

Anyway, sorry if I've grossed anyone out. I just want to give the most accurate account I can. I guess I'd just like to know if it's normal to pass anything other than blood during your menstrual cycle.

Thanks for any advice.

If its during your period, its probably just tissue that was along with your lining. I wouldn't worry about it unless if it is causing you pain or happening at times where you aren't supposed to be having your period.
