Sex, Birth Contol, and Pregnancy Posted: 07-14-03 04:08am
I recently (one week ago) had sex with my
boyfriend while I was on my period.
Everything was fine and he was wearing a
condom like usual. It was actually the day
before I was starting Birth Control (BC).
While having sex his penis shrunk to a
smaller size after he came. The penis and
condom then slipped out of my vagina and
the condom ended up spilling all over the
bed and me. The next day I started my BC
for the very first time. I was fine and
did not feel any side effects.
Now, one week later (after we had the sex
and I started my BC) I am experiencing
horrible pains throughout my body. My
breasts are tender and hurt. My back
aches. I have stomache aches and cramps. I
also have headahes, am very dizzy, and
nausea (which is extremely bad, but
luckily I have not thrown up yet). I
actualy got a little sick after eating a
sandwitch (which has never happened to me
before).
I also have not been getting much sleep as
usual and am contantly stressing over
things in my life.
My question is could I possible be
pregnant or are these symptoms I am
experiencing from my BC?

It sounds to me as though you may need a
different kind of birth control pill.
There are different pills on the market.
Everyones bodies are different and you may
need to try a different pill. I recommend
that you consult with your doctor who
perscribed the pill and explain to them
your symptoms. Most Likely you are not
pregnant. However, I would advise you to
get a pregnancy test done just to be sure.
I hope this helps you.

I doubt you are pregnant. You are
probably having side effects from the BCP.
I remember when I first started I would
get like a morning sickness if I took it
on an empty stomach. It got better over
time and went away. If it continues, I
would get on another type of BCP. There
are lots on the market.
