sore throat from oral sex or sharing smoke ? Posted: 01-14-08 14:04pm
Ok about 2 months ago I had a sore throat
for about 5 days.I had gave my girl oral
and also smoked weed off my friend who was
sick in the same day.The next morning I
woke up I had a sore throat.Im not sure if
it came from giving my girl oral or
smoking with my sick friend.I went to the
doctor and she gave me antibiotics.She
said it was most likely a bacteria but it
was a slight chance it could be
gonorrhea.
I took the antibiotics and got better
within 5 days.I sometimes still wonder how
I got the sore throat though.Me and my
girlfriend always have unprotected sex so
I dont know if it was from her.
I havent went down on my girl since this
happened cuz Im not too sure where I got
the sore throat from.When I went back to
my doc she said it was most likely a
bacteria infection.
Im not too sure and wanted more opinions
on this.Let me know what yall think
Could I have gotten the sore throat from
my friend being sick and me smoking off

Yes, it's possible that the bacteria was
contracted after sharing a smoke.
Remember that marijuana weakens the immune
system, and that a weak immune system
causes a ripe environment for infection.
Be sure to supplement your diet with a
Multi Vitamin or Vitamin C during winter
months, when we are generally cold and our
immune system is working overtime.
