sore throat from smoking ? Posted: 01-14-08 14:05pm
Ok about 2 months ago I had a sore throat
for about 5 days.I had gave my girl oral
and also smoked weed off my friend who was
sick in the same day.The next morning I
woke up I had a sore throat.Im not sure if
it came from giving my girl oral or
smoking with my sick friend.I went to the
doctor and she gave me antibiotics.She
said it was most likely a bacteria but it
was a slight chance it could be
gonorrhea.
I took the antibiotics and got better
within 5 days.I sometimes still wonder how
I got the sore throat though.Me and my
girlfriend always have unprotected sex so
I dont know if it was from her.
I havent went down on my girl since this
happened cuz Im not too sure where I got
the sore throat from.When I went back to
my doc she said it was most likely a
bacteria infection.
Im not too sure and wanted more opinions
on this.Let me know what yall think
Could I have gotten the sore throat from
my friend being sick and me smoking off

i don't really think you could have gotten
it from smoking off of your friend.... but
it could happen and if your girl had
gonorrhea you could have gotten the sore
throat from her i'm not to sure i think
it's a trick question bacause you can't
really know which one it came from

Me and my girl been together for a year
and 3 months.We always have unprotected
sex.I dont go down on her often,only did
it a few times with her.Also my friend had
a cold when I smoked with him.Im not sure
if it was him and plus it will sound funny
if i just come out of nowhere and ask my
girl to get tested considering the fact
that we been having unprotected sex for
months.
What do you think it could be though?Does
anybody know

ok but your girlfriend could have caught
it from somone else i'm not sayin she
cheated on you or anything but i'm pretty
sure your gf would understand. maybe both
of you need to go get checked just to be
100% sure. and also yes you could have
gotten a sore throat from smoking from
your friend if your friend had a cold or
was sick or whatever. but still at least
you need to go get checked and if you do
have something so does your gf if you've
had unprotected sex.

the symptoms are gone, right? so what's
the worry. you can wonder till you're
blue in the face, but whats the point. If
your friend was sick, it's very probable
that you caught his cold. Heck, it might
not have even been caused by either of
those situations. it could have been just
a regular run of the mill sore throats
that just happen.. caused by an unknown
source, like touching a door knob after
some person with a cold touched it, and
then touching your mouth.
If you're really worried, get tested. get
her tested. if you both come back
negative, then you'll know for sure. It's
pointless to get worked up over a
situation that you're unsure of... it'll
just strain your relationship.
