broken water ?

sorry about the details. i just need
someone's opinion. last night about 9 40 i
went to the restroom and it felt like a
water balloon popped in my lower stomach.
everything in the toilet was clear like
water. since then it feels like i have
been leaking something a little bit but
only at certain times. could my water have
broke because my mother in law said that's
what it felt like to her and she ended up
having a pin hole leak. please help!!

If you think your water may have broken,
you need to be seen by a doctor
IMMEDIATELY. You're at serious risk of
infection after 24 hours (I believe). Go
get checked out. If your doctor can't see
you, go to the ER. This is very important.

Yes, it could be. You need to call your
doctor or go into labor and delivery to be
checked. It can cause an infection if
left too long and that is not good for the
baby.

Definately call your doctor, sounds like
your water could have broken, in which
case they will want baby out within 24hrs.
Youa re at increased risk for infection,
so no vaginal exams, intercourse or
anything of the sort. (unelss exam is done
by your doctor).

so the leaking has stopped and i woke up
this morning with a severe headache and my
shoulder hurting like crazy. i woke up
atleast 4-5 times last night feeling sick
to my stomach. i'm afraid to tell my mom
or to call the doctor.

your going to be a mother soon
you need to suck it up and tell your mom.
you need to do whats best for the baby and
suck up what your afraid to do.
it worries me when people like you become
mothers.

Amniotic fluid is clear (may be a little
cloudy also) so call doctor NOW. but now
that your water has broke, they will want
to get you on an IV so you don't get an
infection and they can administer drugs to
keep you from getting one.

If her water broke on the 13th, she's
already passed the 24 hour mark. If you
haven't done so already, you need to go to
Labor and Delivery. Not in a few days, not
in a few hours. Right now.

so i just got back from the doctors and he
said my water didn't break and there was
no leak or anything. he pushed on the
baby's head and it bounced around and the
doctor said there was still fluid in there
and everything was fine. he didn't say
anything about the swelling in my hands
and feet and my nausea but gave me
medicine for my headache and told me to
call him right away if i ever swell up
like the pilsbery dough boy. lol. thanks
