I hate to say what every one else is
saying, but "The average couple takes
about a year to conceive." If it isn't
going well after that, then you can talk
to your doctor.
There is a link to chemo and infertility,
but only tests would determine if that is
the cause of your unsuccessful attempts so
far. Here is a link to info on that:
I would have to agree, it will normally
takes a lot longer to conceive.
Did your fiance's doctor say that the
chemo might affect his ability to have
children? I would check with the doctor
first.
Also, I found that vitamins have an impact
on conceiving. I read about it and even
bought the vitamins on
Just give it time. Good Luck!

let nature take its course Posted: 02-29-08 07:12am
chemotherapy and some antibiotics cause
infertility but mostly human reproductive
systems are well protected against these
on-slot. You tests will confirm the count
and motility of the sperms. Even if the
count is lesser by adopting and practicing
certain methods the chance of conception
is higher.
If your period cycle is 28 days you can
have sex on 12th. 14th and 16th days
or 13th 15th and 17th days other days
please abstain from it. Initially for one
month have a relaxed and lovable life
without having sex. From the second month
follow the above days. Ask him to eat lot
of almonds and wall nuts and you eat lot
of fig fruits with pomegranate juice. Use
inner garments only when you are out of
home. Ask him to be free at home. Using
tight inner garments reduce the ability of
testicles bec they have to keep lesser
temperature than our body temperature.
Never ever go for hormone medications in
the early stages bec let nature take its
course. Avoid eating too much of meat
especially chicken, have lot of citrus
juices but avoid white sugar instead you
can have honey. I will suggest few herbal
tonics to improve the rate of fertility.
