THANK YOU!
Finally someone who just gives me answers without telling me what I've done wrong!
What birthcontrols can I do while breastfeeding besides the shot.

I'm pretty sure you can have the nuva ring and Mirena IUD. I would recommend the Mirena IUD because you don't have to worry about anything for 5 or 10 years (depending on which one you want). It's awesome. No periods. No worries.

I agree, I think those are a wonderful option. They are also easily removed if you decided before the 5 years that you want another child.

There is also the porgesterone only pill (also known as POP, or the mini0pill) And that is safe for breast-feeding mothers. It is taken just like a regular pill. However, you do have a little more careful about taking it at the same time every day.

Did your doctor mention anything to you at your check-up?

well I asked for the shot, but she didn't say much because I told her I had unprotected sex so she told me to wait 2 weeks and take a test then I could have the shot after I found out what the results were.

Yeah, I think either type of IUD works for breastfeeding moms, POP's too (i'm on that) and depo
