MS on injections and employment Posted: 01-15-08 12:11pm
My son in law was diagnosed with MS 4
years ago and is taking injections daily
with very limited symptoms or issues. If
you did not know he had MS there is no
visible sign. He recently applied and was
accepted for truck driving school and
moved to South Carolina. Today the School
Administrator informed him that most
likely none of the Carriers affiliated
with the school will offer him employment
due to the MS and that if not they will be
terminating the training by the end of
this week. Are there any issues with a
truck driver having MS.

The one thing I can think of is vision
problems, with MS you can suddenly lose
vision in one or both eyes or have vision
get dim or blurry. I have had double
vision a few times.
