I had TERRIBLE restless leg syndrome when I was pregnant. There were many, many nights where I would just watch tv all night and take a nap or two during the day.
When I went to the hospital for my induction, I was running on 3 days with absolutely no sleep at all. No nap or anything. I was miserable.
I was so terrified that I wouldn't have enough energy to deliver the baby.

I asked my doc about it because I felt terribly guilty about sleeping on my stomach or back, but I was like the others. I would just wake up that way. She said your body will tell you if it isn't good by having parts of your body go to sleep or getting light headed. I had terrible terrible carpel tunnel and insomnia when I was pregnant, so any sleep I was getting was good sleep
