Stress and Pulmonary Embolism (PE's) Posted: 01-16-08 13:20pm
I have had PE's blood clots on the lungs
but don't fall into any of the likely
causes, except I had been under stress.
Do anyone know if PE's and Stress are
linked?
Do anyone know of any studies into stress
and PE's.
Could stress have caused my PE's?

Hey fireman, my sister-in-law came down
with PE, 1000's of them and we almost lost
her, it turns out that it was a
inheritated disease, but if caught early
can be treated. so talk to your doctor
about PE's that could be hereditary, they
can check with a specific blood test.. I
don't know what it is, but my husband was
tested and he is fine. If u notice that
your face is blue, get to the er, even if
its your lips. She noticed that her lips
were blue, approxamatley 5 days after her
husband gave her a massage with a heavy
duty massager and it nocked 100's of them
loose, we almost lost her. Now she is on
Oxygen for the rest of her life.. She is
very obese and not active alot and had a
very stressfull job, so i think all those
combinations made things worse.. good luck
