hey, iono if u remember me but i posted
the topic "is it a
possibility???"...anyways my g/f missed
her period about 3-4 days ago so we took a
test today and it said negative but we are
still worried cause she still has signs of
pregnancy and her period hasn't come
yet...does anybody have any suggestions of
what to do or what is wrong?
Thanks

just FYI you wouldnt have pregnancy
symptoms or signs just a few days past a
missed period. It could just be stress or
hormones throwing her period off and/or
giving her these "symptoms". Just wait 2-3
more days and try agian. Remember FIRST
thing in the morning!

the "signs of pregnancy" could very well
be pms symptoms, id say wait a week and
try again if she doesnt get her period

What they said.....but also did you test
correctly? It's best to test with first
morning urine.

No she didn't test early in the morning, I
told her that it's recommended to do that
but she wanted to find out like right at
that moment. One reason though why we are
getting more worried is because her
symptoms are getting worse. Now she has
morning sickness, sore
breasts/discoloration of nipples, major
mood swings, fatigue, cramping and the
list goes on...but yea we are going to
wait another week and try again (early in
the morning this time), if it still says
negative and she still hasn't had her
period then we are going to do a blood
test.

Well then she needs to take another one
and follow the directions exactly. The
first test she did is meaningless.

It sounds like you have a good plan, but
as we told you on your previous thread,
there is no way that the symptoms she is
having are related to pregnancy.
From your other thread:

weeks ago and she hasnt had her period yet
cause it isnt her time
|
In other words it wasn't even time for her
period yet.

but she has been really tired A LOT and
has been feeling sick to her stomach off
and on for a little over a week. We are
both worried about it but aren't freaking
(yet). Is there a big chance she could be
pregnant?
Thanks a bunch!! | No, there is not a big
chance she could be pregnant, but there is
a small chance. Her symptoms have NOTHING
to do with pregnancy, however. She has
the flu, pms, or something else.

Are you sure you have the dates right?
Are you sure she couldn't have already
been pregnant before the
unprotected-sex-after-the-condom incident?
Ask her when her last period was.
How long have you been going out with her?

her test wasnt meaningless, just because
she didnt take it first thing in the
morning doesnt mean it wasnt accurate. I
took both of mine with my sons at night
and they were accurate. Also my friend
just took one a few days ago and the
directions said it wasnt necessary

First morning urine is the best. It will
be more concentrated.

I'm not saying that afternoon/night urine
is not accurate...just that most of the
time its reccomended to use first morning
urine.

Everyone is different!! Maybe her body
hasn't adjusted to the hormones yet and
that's why the tests are negative? even if
she does first thing in the morning.
Someone on here said they took 4 tests and
3 were negative and the positive one was I
think a full month after her missed
period. Only time will tell. Don't stress
out, it'll only make things worse, trust
me. The blood test should show something,
and if not, then please ease your mind of
it!

futureshock, if you could only get result
from an HPT early in the morning then why
doesn't it say that on the
box/instructions??? and also she wasn't
preg before we had sex, i was her first so
that's not even possible and we have been
goin out for a little over 5 months to
answer your question...also im pretty sure
it's pms symptoms, she doesn't have the
flu or anything plus she is under A LOT of
stress right now so that could be causing
some of this. my friend had the same
thing happen with his g/f and she didn't
have her period until 3 weeks after the
test turned out negative and she had all
the symptoms my g/f has...so yea like i
said we are just going to wait a week and
see what happens, if she doesnt have her
period by then, then we are going to take
another test (in the morning) and see how
that turns up

first morning urine in the instructions

well i hope this works out for you!!! yeah
stress can def cause a missed/late period.
how old is she? she may have irregular
periods which is quite common for younger
women.

it does??? we both looked at those
instructions for like 10 mins to figure
out if it said anything about taking it in
the morning and we couldn't find a thing
about it, that's why she wanted to do it
then. hmm o well we will definately do
that next time though...anyways we are
both 18 so hopefully this late period
stuff is all caused by stress, she keeps
sayin she has never wanted her period so
bad lol...so yea thanks for all your help
you guys!!
