I would like your advice please? Posted: 01-17-08 14:27pm
Hey everyone its me again. I need to make
a decision about my life. As you all know
I am about 7 wks pregnant. I have been
having morning sickness this entire week
and I have been having a really hard time.
This is my daily life.
Wake up at 5:00, throw up. Get to work at
6:30, throw up. Attempt to eat lunch. Go
home at 3:30. Make dinner and clean house.
Then at 5:30 its time to go to school.
Then its school until 8:45. I get home
then go straight to bed and do it all over
again. This is how my entire pregnancy
will be if I stay in school. I go to
school 4 days during the week and all day
Saturday.
Is this kind of schedule healthy for me
and my baby? It doesnt feel healthy. I
see my doc next friday so Im sure I can
ask her, but I need to make this choice
ASAP because of issues with school.
Thanks for all of your future replys.....

It is a fine schedule. The morning
sickness is obviously causing some major
problems, but if there were no morning
sickness, I think you'd feel a lot better.
That should ease up within the next few
weeks.
Good luck!

That is awfully tiring-sounding! I wish I
had some advice for you. I have never been
pregnant, so I am not sure how much is
considered too much. I am sorry I am not
much help, but if you ever just want to
talk and someone to vent to, pm me! Hopefully some of
these girls can help you out and give you
some advice!

first trimester. my advice keep crackers
with you throughout the entire day.

I've been there, done that and morning
sickness DOES suck, but the good like is
it will probably ease up after awhile..if
it's to hard on you couldn't you cut back
your hours for school??

my schedule was pretty much like that too.
I was working from 6:30 to 5 then
straight to school from 5:30 to 6:45, then
home to clean and cook and do laundry. I
was lucky if I got to bed by 11. I was
dead tired all the time. I never really
had morning sickness, but I did get a
little queazy. I found that ginger snaps
were good for easing it and also
watermelon and ginger-ale.

thanks acruz!
I have decided to drop my math class that
meets twice per week and I will keep my
classes on mon, wed, and sat. Which are
English 202, Comm, and Biology. I can
still maintain school and have a little
more time off. I just didnt want to give
up school you know? My entire life has
changed and will continue to.
Its just shocking you know? Like Im goona
be a mother ! Holy cow!

this was my schedual when i was pregnant,
wake up about 6 school by 7 or 9 depending
on the day, work after school (either 12
or 2 again depending on the day) then
mondays and wendsdays school at 6 until 9
sleep....and i typically worked weekends
too
it will be ok, just get naps in whenever
you can and i do mean WHENEVER, even if
its just 10 minutes take it
