Yes I was wondering if gettin a
circumnsicion at the age of 16 would cost
any money. If it does is there anything
to do that would make it free

I seriously doubt you could get it free.
The only way I could think of would be if
you have health insurance and it was
determined to be medically necessary.
I am sorry.

Getting Circumcised Posted: 04-28-04 05:29am
Johnboy,
these days, I believe the surgery is not
free. Please make certain that the
circumcision is something that you truly
want and need. Once the surgery is done,
it's done. I was not circumcised and and
glad that I was not. This is your
decision. However, for your information
only, go to the following website:
do your research, inform yourself, then
decide. I wish you the best, no matter
what decision you make.

Why are you happy you're not circumcised?

Happy Not to Be Circumcised! Posted: 04-29-04 00:32am
Johnboy,
the fact that I have not been circumcised
gives me a peace that my penis was not
altered. I have seen botched
circumcisions on the internet that have
left a few men very unhappy and disfigured
for life. Even though those cases may be
in the minority, i'm glad that my parents
did not take that chance with me.
I take a bath every day, and I wash all
parts of my body, so again, being
uncircumcised has never been a problem for
me.
I am not a doctor. Some male babies may
be born with circumstances that warrant
some degree of clipping of the foreskin.
In cases like this, I still believe the
absolute minimum of foreskin should be
removed.
Again, do your research, make your own
decision. Don't let anyone else make it
for you.

I had my son circumcised when he was a
week old a few weeks ago and it costed 200
dollars.....And my insurance didn't cover
it because it is cosmetic surgery. I dont
know if they would charge more for you or
not. Or even who would do it, my ob/gyn
did my sons but i'm not sure they do 16
year olds....Lol.

Yes,definately make the decision yourself.
As long as you have a good doctor
though, there is nothing to worry about.
And as a woman let me just say that I find
uncircumcised penis' very unattractive.
Just my opinion, and every other woman I
have ever talked to about it.

How can a woman be circumcised? We do
not have penis' if you mean getting our
clit cut off, oooh. There is not medical
reason for that. Actually in cultures
who do that they only do it so that the
woman has no sexual desires whatsoever.
That way they do not cheat. Well, I
would not get any pleasure at all having
sex with someone who couldn't even enjoy
it. But, to each his own, once again.
I personally think uncircumcised penis'
look like worms. And they are harder to
keep clean, which means more infections
for me after intercourse. But once
again, just my personal preference.

hmm my penis does not look like a worm I
don’t know what uncircumcised men you have
been with but there genetics on that side
must of been odd because my foreskin is
extremely short and does not look like a
worm. And there are less extreme forms of
female circumcision then removal of the
clitoris. Like removing the clitoral
hood. This is the more common type that
is performed in other countries. How
could you know how hard it is to clean a
foreskin are you really a man. Or did you
change your sex or something. Personally
it is not hard to keep my clean a shower a
night retract the entire time during the
shower and put back what is so hard about
that. So have you been with a
uncircumcised man before is that why you
got this preference? If you have not been
with one you can not say they are dirty or
have infections if you have. I have never
had one infection. In fact the only
infection that was serious that I got was
from a girl which was strep b. But I am
not about to say if some one chopped her
skin off of her vagina that I would not of
gotten sick. I almost died from that
infection. I had other problems but
still. So you see women can be more of a
carrier of infection then a uncircumcised
man could ever be. So may be instead of
blaming men for these infection we should
blame women for having all of those folds
of skin that trap smegma and infection for
these problems. You see the same logic
can be applied to women to. All be it I
am sorry the preference of your old boy
friend was to not clean him self. But it
has nothing to do with him not being
circumcised.

Oh, grow up for goodness sakes.
I have never had sex with an uncircumcised
male and prefer never to.
I did not say anything about you carrying
an infection. I said, since it is harder
to keep an uncircumcised penis clean of
all bacteria that means more infections
for the female. All it takes is one
little tiny piece of bacteria, and when
you are not c., it hides under your
foreskin.
I am sorry that I am not familiar with
female cir., I do apologize, but I have
never heard of it except for the removal
of the clitorus. If that is what the
female or her parents choose to do than
more power to them.
And I know that they are harder to keep
clean, because that is a fact. Why do
you think most parents choose to
circumcise their children? It isn't just
because. There are health reasons.
I am happy that you keep yourself clean
and are happy with your penis.
You asked my opinion and I gave it.
Don't get all defensive on me. There is
absolutely no point. And to me they do
look like worms. Or eels or something of
the sort. They do absolutely nothing for
me. Just my opinion.

Also, woman and men can carry infections.
I am not talking about stds. Do you
have a vagina? O.K, then don't tell me
that women do not get infections from men,
cir. Or not. We so easily get uti's,
bv, yeast infections just from
intercourse. So, you see when there are
more places for it to hide in an uncir.
Male I personally would much rather not
take the chance.
Once again, I am not saying that uncir.
Penis' are absolutely disgusting. I do
not find them attractive personally. You
asked why and I told you. If you do not
want to know or are going to accuse me of
being a man or having intercourse with
dirt balls than don't ask questions.

Its cool I was just trying to understand
you point on view. But the fact is that
there are different types of circumcisions
that are done. Just like in the female
circ. Some remove more skin some remove
much less. So even if the male is
circumcised they still can have plenty of
hiding places for infection to remain
there. Sorry if you thought I was being
defensive just trying to understand you
point of view.

Oh, o.K. I know that even if circ.
There are still many places for bacteria
to hide. And yes, men and women carry
bacteria equally.
I am just one of those unlucky girls who
gets some kind of infection almost every
time I have intercourse. Whether the man
pushes bacteria from him up into me, or if
it is already there but he pushes it into
the wrong place, I dunno. But it sucks
either way.
I was not trying to be mean about the
whole thing. Like I said it is only my
opinion. Everyone likes different
things. It is just like a guy liking big
boobs or long legs or ghetto booties.
Some women like stomachs, chests, arms, or
cir. Penis'. Or uncir. Penis'.
Everyone has their own preferences. That
is just mine.

I can totally relate. The last girl I
either kissed or it was from having sex
with I got strep b that nearly took my
life. So I probly have just as bad of
luck with that as you. The preference
thing is understandable to. I am not
upset or anything else was just trying to
understand you situation.

You won't be able to consent to the
procedure till you're over 18, so take the
time to think about it. I was
circumcised as a baby for religious
reasons and recommend it. As an
uncircumcsed male you need to be concened
with smegma, the filth that builds up
under the foreskin and causes odor. You
may have noticed it is hard to stay clean
between baths. This procedure may be
painful because you are grown so consider
it carefully. If you don't go through
with it make sure your penis is clean.
Many women prefer circumcised men.

Ok this is to shawn, hotasfrick was not
saying anything to be rude. She simply
misunderstood what you said. I, too, find
an uncircumcised penis unattractive. They
look like pencils! Lol.....But thats just
me. I don't talk to other females about
it. And keeping an uncircumcised penis
clean is more difficult than a circumcised
one. And I know from experience. Before
my son was circumcised, I had to pull back
the foreskin and clean under it. Now I
just clean around it. So that is one
thing that makes circumcision more
attractive, it is easier to keep a clean
penis.
But johnboy, just make sure it's really
what you want to do. Because it's
forever. It can't be reversed. Hope you
make an intelligent and informed decision!

umm... But I thought you said "i have
never had sex with an uncircumcised male "
and you never want to in the future. So
your argument kind of fell on its head
then, as you must have got these sexual
diseases from people who were circumcised.

Yeah, maybe you should learn how to
read...
First of all I don't have any sexual
diseases. I get infections and there is
a huge difference. It is very easy for a
woman to get an infection from intercourse
because all it takes is one little tiny
piece of bacteria.
I said that I have enough trouble having
intercourse with a man with a circumcised
penis and for me it would be even more
troublesome having it with a man who is
not circumcised, because of the extra
places for bacteria to hide.
No, I have never had sex with an
uncircumcised man and hope that I never
have to.
But, back to johnboy, it is ultimately up
to you no matter what anyone else says.
Most people have no problems whatsoever
being circumcised, but there are those
select few who develop problems from it.
So, if you do decide to go through with it
just make sure you have a good doctor whom
you trust.
Kissybai....Thanks for understanding!
All I said was that it was my personal
preference. He asked why and I
explained...That is all!

Sheesh, someone needs a chill pill. I can
read perfectly well, an infection is
caused by an infectious disease fyi.
Therefore infections are diseases. So
yes, I can read. Never the less you
dodged the whole point of my last post
quite succesfully
however, I did read your other post where
you said that you just prefered circ'ed
penis, and it was your personal pref.
Which will make never have sex with
uncirc.Ed penis fair enough.
Personally, i'd call you shallow. If at
the end of the day you don't end up
marrying/dating someone just because their
penis is circ.Ed or not.
Btw, you are american right? That would
explain a lot I guess, different
attitudes. Also - do you have any
religious reasons - also would explain a
lot.
