Some call me young, others nieve, but either way I just want to know. What is spotting? I've heard the term used before like for a sign of pregnancy, but what is it exactly? I honestly dont know, but honestly would love to know. Thanks

Hi there,

spotting is a term used for when a woman notices a little blood on her underwear. Some women will experience spotting a week or so after conception, due to implantation bleeding caused by the egg atatching itself to the wall of the uterus. You may also experience spotting if you have just started the contraceptive pill. Teens usually notice a little spotting sometimes if they have just started getting their period and their body is still getting used to becoming regular. Hope that helps.
